UK mobile carrier Three has just announced the Three Web Cube, which is basically a mobile alternative to broadband for your home, and the device is HSPA+ enabled. According
to Three the Web Cube will offer typical download speeds of between
2Mbps to 5Mbps with a maximum speed in excess of 10 Mbps, and you can
also connect up to five different devices to the web cube at once.

The HTC Sensation has been available for some time, we reviewed the
handset last year, and now HTC has announced that they will launch an
‘Ice White’ version of the HTC Sensation on the 1st of March in Europe. What
makes the announcement interesting is that this new version of the HTC
Sensation will ship with the latest version of Google’s Mobile OS,
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

HTC has confirmed that a number of its mobile Android handsets may
leak security credentials on Wi-Fi networks, and has now issued a fix to
help correct the problem.
The fix should automatically roll out
to patch the issue, but HTC does states that some of its Android
smartphones will require the user to manually load the fix on to their
devices. HTC suggests that users should check its site for more details
on how to perform the update.

Samsung recently announced the Samsung Galaxy S Advance, and now we have some details on when the handset will be available in the UK, the device will launch in the week of the 27th. The guys over at Clove have just put the Samsung Galaxy S
Advance up for pre-order, and a SIM free version of the handset is
available for £354 including taxes, and it will ship near the end of the
month.
As
a reminder the Samsung Galaxy S Advance features a 4 inch Super AMOLED
multi-touch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, it is powered

The Huawei Honor
was first announced on September of last year, we also got a look at
the device in a hands on video, and now it appears that it could be
headed to US mobile carrier AT&T. The Huawei Honor was recently spotted in an FCC filing, and the device was listed with AT&T’sn 3G and HSPA+ bands, so it is possible that the handset could be headed to AT&T.
As
a reminder, the Huawei Honor features Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, and it
comes with a 4 inch FWVGA multi-touch touchscreen display with a
resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.

Sky TV launched their Sky Go app for Apple’s iOS devices last year, the app lets you watch on demand content from Sky on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch as well as live TV. Sky
has announced that they have a version of Sky Go in the works for
Android tablets and smartphones and the Sky Go app should be available
on Google’s Android platform by the end of February.
Sky
also announced recently that they would be bringing content from the
BBC iPlayer and ITV player catch up services to Sky, and this content is
also expected to be available on the Sky Go apps for both Android

Yesterday Samsung unveiled their latest smartphone in their Galaxy range, the Samsung Galaxy S Advance, and now UK mobile operator Three has announced that the Galaxy S Advance will be headed to their network. They
have also put together a hands on video of the Samsung Galaxy S Advance
in action, and the video below gives us our first look at Samsung’s
latest Android smartphone.
As
a reminder the Samsung Galaxy S Advance comes with a 4 inch WVGA Super

It looks like we may have a date for the release of the Symbian Belle update from Nokia, as Nokia Vietnam announced that the update will be released on the 8th of February 2012.
The
page has since been removed from the Nokia Vietnam website, but not
before a number of people managed to capture a screen shot of the
announcement. Nokia is already shipping new Symbian devices
with Symbian Belle, so it looks like the update should be out around
the 8th of February, although it is unclear why the page has been pulled
from the Nokia website.

It looks like LG has a new budget Android smartphone in the works, as
a yet to be announced Android smartphone from LG has appeared at one
online retailer, the LG Optimus L3 E400.
The LG Optimus L3 E400
will come with a 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen display, and will also come
with Android 3.2 Gingerbread, plus Wi-Fi, GPS and a 3.5mm headphone
jack. On
the back of the LG Optimus L3 E400 is a 3 megapixel camera and it also
features a microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB cards, and it
will be available SIM free for around 145 Euros, which works out at
around $190.

on Sprint then the time has come to sign up as Google has opened up a
page where you can register to express your interest on the much-awaited
smartphone on the network.
Sprint is set to release a series of LTE
devices this year to take advantage of its network and the Galaxy Nexus
is part of it. There’s still no definite date yet on when the Android-powered smartphone will be available but the presence of a sign up page is clear indication that the date is near.
