Nokia has come up with a statement that the battery woes that plagued
the Lumia 800 should have been gone by now after its latest update.

company official made the statement in Nokia’s forum to clear the air
after some continue to complain that their batteries just could not hold

Sony announced back in October that they would be buying Ericsson out of their Sony Ericsson joint smartphone venture for a total of $1.47 Billion, Sony would then re-brand its mobile phones under the ‘Sony’ brand.
It looks like the $1.47 billion buyout had now been approved by the
European regulators on the 26th of January, and this will mean that Sony
now has full control of its mobile phone division and also the patents
that go with it.
Sony recently announced their latest financial results for quarter
four of 2011, and the company posted a loss of 207 million Euros, around
$272 million USD.

LG and Prada announced their latest smartphone a while back, and now
it looks like the new LG Prada 3.0 will go on sale in the UK tomorrow,
as UK mobile retailer Phones4U will be selling the handsets with a
number of different mobile carriers.
The LG Prada 3.0 features a 4.3 inch multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and it also comes with Android Gingerbread.
Other specifications on the LG Prada 3.0 include a dual core 1GHz processor, plus 8GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB microSD cards.

We haven’t had a good iPhone 5 rumor for some time, the latest one comes from the guys over at 9 to 5 Mac, who apparently received some information for a source at Foxconn in China. According to the report the iPhone 5 is ready for production, and it will feature a larger 4 inch display than the existing iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, with a larger footprint as well. <

Samsung has this week taken screwdriver to its own Galaxy Note tablet
this week and dismantled it revealing its workings to the world. The
Samusng Galaxy Note was originally announced by during IFA 2011 in
Berlin and was later launched in late October 2011 in Europe. Last
month, Samsung announced that 1 million Galaxy Notes were shipped in
less than two months, and that Galaxy Note would be available in the US
in 2012.

It looks like there is another new Windows Phone smartphone headed to AT&T on the 18th of March, as well as the new Nokia Lumia 900, AT&T will also be offering the HTC Titan II from March the 18th.
The HTC Titan II will be available for $199 when you sign up to a new
two year contract with AT&T and the device comes with the latest
version of Microsoft’s mobile OS, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.

The Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx is now available from Verizon, and the handset is available for $299 when you sign up to a new two year contract with Verizon Wireless.
The Droid RAZR Maxx is essentially a Droid RAZR with a higher
capacity battery and the handset comes with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread,
although Verizon have said that it will get Android 4.0 Ice Cream
Sandwich in the future.

Earlier today we heard that the Nokia Lumia 900
would be available in the UK in June, the news came after the device
appeared on a retailers website, the page has since been pulled. Now according to Eldar Murtzain, the device will be the Nokia Lumia 910, which is the European version of the 900, and it will come without 4G LTE and will feature a higher specification camera than the Lumia 900.

Samsung has announced that a white version of their Samsung Galaxy
Note smartphone has launched in the UK today, and the device will be
available exclusively from UK retailer John Lewis.
Samsung have also said that the device will come with £250 worth of
free music, films and e-books to the first one hundred customers, and it
will stay exclusive with the retailer until February.
The white Samsung Galaxy note comes with the same specifications as
the original which include a 5.3 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display
with a resolution of 1280 x 800

It looks like we have some details on another new Android device that
will be launched at MWC 2012 in Barcelona next month, this time from
Sony, the Sony Xperia St25i Kumquat.
As you can see from the photo below the Sony Xperia Kumquat comes
with the Sony Ericsson branding, although we suspect it will just
feature the Sony branding when it is announced next month.
The device is rumored to feature a 3.5 inch touchscreen display and
will also come with a dual core 1GHz processor and a 5 megapixel camera
and the display is rumored to come with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution.
Unfortunately those are the only details we have so far, but as you
can see from the photo it shares a similar design to that of the Sony
Xperia S which was announced recently.
