Yamaha has this week announced new additions to its range of audio
systems with the unveiling of its new TSX-132 and TSX-B232 desktop, and
the MCR-042 and MCR-B142 micro audio systems.
The Yamaha MCR-B142 and MCR-042 both put out 30W of sound via
connections made by USB, aux-in and Apple’s older 30 pin devices,
together with CDs if preferred.
The TSX-B232 and MCR-B142 models are both equipped with Bluetooth
connectivity, allowing users to wirelessly stream music to these systems
from smartphones and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. The systems
are also equipped with AM/FM radio, and have been created to deliver
exceptional audio quality for their compact size and offer colourful,
style-savvy industrial designs, says Yamaha. Tom Sumner, senior vice
president, Yamaha Corporation of America explains:
"Our TSX and MCR systems combine the great natural sound
reproduction for which Yamaha is known, with the latest lifestyle
integration features today’s consumers expect,” – "These systems provide
a quick and easy way to deliver music from just about any source to any
room in the house with style-be it the living room, bedroom or
kitchen.”
The new Yamaha TSX-132, TSX-B232, MCR-042 and MCR-B142 begin shipping
this month and are priced at MCR-B142 $449.95, MCR-042
