It looks like we may have a date for the release of the Symbian Belle update from Nokia, as Nokia Vietnam announced that the update will be released on the 8th of February 2012.
The
page has since been removed from the Nokia Vietnam website, but not
before a number of people managed to capture a screen shot of the
announcement. Nokia is already shipping new Symbian devices
with Symbian Belle, so it looks like the update should be out around
the 8th of February, although it is unclear why the page has been pulled
from the Nokia website.

It looks like LG has a new budget Android smartphone in the works, as
a yet to be announced Android smartphone from LG has appeared at one
online retailer, the LG Optimus L3 E400.
The LG Optimus L3 E400
will come with a 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen display, and will also come
with Android 3.2 Gingerbread, plus Wi-Fi, GPS and a 3.5mm headphone
jack. On
the back of the LG Optimus L3 E400 is a 3 megapixel camera and it also
features a microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB cards, and it
will be available SIM free for around 145 Euros, which works out at
around $190.

Renegade-X: Back Dawn is a free First Person Shooter
(FPS), being developed by Totem Arts; a group of volunteers committed
to bringing the Command and Conquer FPS experience to the current
iteration of the Unreal Engine.
Black Dawn is a short singleplayer campaign, that was released on
January 28th 2012, ahead of the upcoming multiplayer release.

X is an updated versions go the game original multiplayer experience
which was created in Unreal Tournament 3, and has been available for
sometime. The development of Black Dawn has given Totem Arts the
opportunity to update much of the outdated game code used in the Unreal
Tournament version of the game.

on Sprint then the time has come to sign up as Google has opened up a
page where you can register to express your interest on the much-awaited
smartphone on the network.
Sprint is set to release a series of LTE
devices this year to take advantage of its network and the Galaxy Nexus

Nokia has come up with a statement that the battery woes that plagued
the Lumia 800 should have been gone by now after its latest update.
A
company official made the statement in Nokia’s forum to clear the air
after some continue to complain that their batteries just could not hold
enough charge for decent day-to-day activities. According to the company official, the update labelled 1600.2483.8106.11500 should have fixed the battery issue as shown on their tests. He also recommended that users

Sony announced back in October that they would be buying Ericsson out of their Sony Ericsson joint smartphone venture for a total of $1.47 Billion, Sony would then re-brand its mobile phones under the ‘Sony’ brand.
It looks like the $1.47 billion buyout had now been approved by the
European regulators on the 26th of January, and this will mean that Sony
now has full control of its mobile phone division and also the patents
that go with it.
Sony recently announced their latest financial results for quarter
four of 2011, and the company posted a loss of 207 million Euros, around
$272 million USD.
