If you need to access other computers to trouble shot issues with
your family members of business colleagues, you might be pleased to
learn that Google has rolled out a new update to its Google Hangouts
Google+ service that now allows you to control another desktop.
The Google Hangouts remote desktop control enables you to play tech support for friends and family, and is powered by the same technology behind Chrome Remote Desktop.

Evernote has announced this week that the online note storage and
organisation service, has partnered with South Korean messaging service
KakaoTalk.
A new version of the KakaoTalk will not allow users to save their
conversations to the Evernote service and provide the ability to share
them with friends.
Evernote CEO Phil Libin explained in the press release how the partnership will make the service more social:

It looks like BlackBerry has another new BlackBerry 10 smartphone in the works, the BlackBerry R10 which can bee seen in the photo below, and the handset is rumored to be a mid tier BlackBerry 10 smartphone
As we can see from the photo below, the BlackBerry R10 features a
QWERTY keyboard, the handset is expected to be priced cheaper that the
current BlackBerry Q10
.
As yet we do not have nay specifications on the BlackBerry R10, as
soon as we get some more details on the handset we will let you guys
know, it is rumored to launch some time in quarter 3.

to join their Bethesda Pay Test lab and take it to the next level.
Beginning this month, Bethesda are opening their Bethesda Play Test
Lab in Dallas, TX, stationed at idSoftware’s offices, and the first play
tests will be taking place over the next couple of weeks.

Earlier today we heard that the new BlackBerry 10 smartphones had received approval from the US Defense Department, and now the Samsung Galaxy S4 has also received approval to be used on the DoD network.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 uses Samsung’s Knox
security system that was announced back in February of this year, and
Samsung will also be using it in future devices, which may also get
approved for DoD use, Apple’s iPhone is apparently undergoing testing by
the DoD at the moment.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is powered by a quad core 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, it comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and features a 5 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The worlds smallest robot failing insect called the Robo-Fly which
has been created by Harvard University developers has been demonstrated
this week.
The Robo-Fly is constructed from carbon fibre, and weighs just a
fraction of a gram. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about

Rovio Mobile have relaunched Angry Birds on Microsoft’s Windows Phone
platform, and the new version of the game gets 100 new levels and also
comes with support for Xbox Live Achievements and Leaderboards.
The new version of Angry Birds now also offer support for Windows
Phone smartphones with 256MB of RAM, like the Nokia Lumia 610 and more
and the game will be free until the 15th of May.

Apple has now added a new storage option to its iMac range, you can now choose to add in either a 256GB slfah storage drive or a 512GB flash storage drive, and prices are $300 for the 256GB version and $600 for the 512GB version.
The 21.5 inch iMac did not have this option before, you could only choose a standard hard drive of an optional Fusion Drive which is made up of a 128GB SSD and a 1TB hard drive.
On the 27 inch iMac a flash storage option was available previously,
although only in the form of a 768GB SSD, which came with a rather large
$900 upgrade fee.

VIA has launched a new development board in the form of the VIA
VAB-600 Pico-ITX, which has been created to allows developers to create
low-power, small form-factor PCs or embedded devices.
The VIA VAB-600 Pico-ITX board is powered by a 800 MHz VIA Wondermedia WM8950 ARM Cortex-A9 processor, supported by 1GB DDR3 SDRAM, with Mali-400 graphics.

Apple has avoided paying as much as $9.2 billion US dollars in tax,
Apple has billions of dollars of cash reserves that are offshore, and
they are in the middle of a $55 billion stock buyback.
Rather than using their massive cash reserves which are offshore to
finance the buyback, Apple used debt to finance part of the buyback, in
the form of a $17 billion bond offering.
Apple will pay interest on this bond offering of around $308 million
per year, the company has an offshore cash pile of around $100 billion,
so it could have easily used this cash for the $17 billion needed,
although that would have cost the company around $9.2 billion in tax.
Apple apparently paid $6 billion in income tax in the US, which is apparently one out of every $40 dollar
