Any Apple device owners in the UK now have the chance to recycle their old and unwanted Apple electronic equipment using Apple’s Reuse and Recycling Program which has now arrived in the UK.

The Reuse And Recycle scheme has already been running in the US and Canada and has been very successful in recycling old and unwanted Apple devices, and even allows the owner to receive money for any devices that can be reused.

To recycle unwanted devices simply visit the Apple website and answering a few questions about the device you wish to recycle. You will then receive an estimate of the devices value from Dataserv, who will send you a prepaid shipping label if you decide to proceed. Apple explains:

"Apple’s commitment to the environment includes finding the most efficient ways to reuse or recycle electronic equipment at the end of its useful life, including iPhone, iPad, Mac or PC computers, and displays from any manufacturer. You may even get some money for your old equipment,”

Once your device has been received by Dataserv any money owing to you will be paid directly into your bank account. So if you have any iPhones, iPads, iPods, Macs or mobile phones and PC computers that you no longer need or use, they can now easily be recycled and reused if possible. Helping you put a little extra money towards that new gadget you’ve always desired.
