Virgin Media has today announced the launch of their new TV Anywhere service app that allows you to view your Virgin TV package wherever you may be via your iOS, Mac or PC.

As well as remote controls and DVR queuing features, the new TV Anywhere application also provides 45 live TV channels for venires to enjoy.

 


To use the new TV Anywhere Service from Virgin Media all you need is a PC or Mac, laptop, iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, together with a broadband connection as everything else is included free with your Virgin TV package. For more information jump over to the Virgin Media TV Anywhere website.

We have been hearing more and more about the new HTC Droid DNA over the last week, earlier today we saw a leaked press shit of the Droid DNA, and now it would appear we may have a possible launch date.

HTC and Verizon have sent out press invites for the 13th of November, and the event will take place in New York at 11AM EST, and whilst they have not said what will be announced we suspect it will be the new HTC Droid DNA.

The HTC Droid DNA is Verizon’s version of the recently announced HTC J Butterfly, and the Verizon version is expected to feature the same specifications as the original, which include 5 inch HD Super LCD 3 display with a 1080p resolution and 440 ppi, the device is powered by a quad core  1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 pro processor, and it will feature 2GB of RAM.

Motorola has released a new software update for their Photon Q smartphone, unfortunately the update is not Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but a software update that brings a number of bug fixes and improvements to the device, and it remains on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the moment.

The Motorola Photon Q features a slide out QWERTY keyboard, processing is provided by a dual core 1.5GHz processor and it comes with a 4.3 inch touchscreen display.

Other specifications on the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE features two cameras, on the back there is an 8 megapixel camera which can record full HD video in 1080p up front there is a HD camera for video chat, the update should be available for your device as of now.

It looks like HTC are getting ready to launch their new HTC Windows Phone 8X in an other country, as according to the guys over at Mobile Syrup, the HTC 8X will land in Canada on the 15th of November.

The HTC Windows Phone 8X will be available with Canadian carrier Bell Mobility from the 15th of November, of course this date has yet to be officially confirmed.

Nokia’s new Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 920 will land on AT&T later this month , and reviews of the handset are already starting to appear online.



The Nokia Lumia 920 comes with Windows Phone 8 and features a 4.5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core Snapdragon S4 processor.


Other specifications on the Nokia Lumia 920 include an 8.7 megapixel rear facing camera with a Carl Zeiss Lens and there is also a front facing 1.2 megapixel camera for video chat.

The Samsung Galaxy Premier has been one busy smartphone. Last month it visited the NCC in Taiwan, which is that country’s version of the FCC. Now, the mid-range device has visited the FCC and it arrived lacking 4G LTE connectivity.



It does have the right bands that would allow it to work on AT&T’s HSPA 3G network. However, the device is expected to launch in Europe and Asia and if it does come to the U.S., it would be as an unlocked import. So don’t expect to see this model subsidized by a U.S. carrier.

Still, the Samsung Galaxy Premier should attract it’s fair share of buyers overseas who don’t need or want 4G LTE connectivity.

HTC’s new HTC One X+ smartphone recently launched in the UK, the handset comes with a 4.7 inch HD multi-touch display, processing is provided bu a quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, and it features Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The guys over at Clove have put together an unboxing video of the new HTC One X+ which you can see below, and it gives us a look at some of the features on the HTC One X+.

Other specifications on the HTC One X+ include an 8 megapixel camera on the back plus a 1.6 megapixel camera on the front, there is also 1GB of RAM and a choice of either 32GB of 64GB of storage.
