Samsung Galaxy Premier hits the FCC without LTE connectivity
The Samsung Galaxy Premier has been one busy smartphone. Last month
it visited the NCC in Taiwan, which is that country’s version of the
FCC. Now, the mid-range device has visited the FCC and it arrived
lacking 4G LTE connectivity.
It does have the right bands that would allow it to work on AT&T’s HSPA
3G network. However, the device is expected to launch in Europe and
Asia and if it does come to the U.S., it would be as an unlocked import.
So don’t expect to see this model subsidized by a U.S. carrier.
Still, the Samsung Galaxy Premier should attract it’s fair share of buyers overseas who don’t need or want 4G LTE connectivity.
