The new Panasonic Lumix GH3 was announced back in September, and now we have a launch date for the device, it will go on sale on the 13th of December in Japan, although no pricing details have been released as yet.

The Panasonic Lumix GH3 features a 16.05-megapixel Live Mos sensor, capable of capturing 6 fps in 16 megapixel mode and 20 fps in 4 megapixel mode, plus it also comes with OLED displays in both its viewfinder and 3:2 614K pixel OLED touchscreen on the rear of the camera.

There are no details as yet on when the Panasonic Lumix GH3 will go on sale in the US and Europe as soon as we get some more information, along with some details on pricing we will let you guys know.

Anyone within Europe who has been patiently waiting for the arrival of the new Amazon Kindle devices, will be pleased to learn that the new Amazon Kindle Paper white, Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD are now available to purchase from the Amazon website.

The new Amazon Kindle devices are priced accordingly : Kindle Fire 8GB for £129/€159, Kindle Fire HD 16GB or 32GB editions cost £159/€199 and £199/€249, respectively.

"From today, LOVEFiLM, an Amazon company and Europe’s leading film subscription service, will offer thousands of movies and TV shows available for streaming on the all-new Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire, including Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Karate Kid and Gnomeo and Juliet.”

It looks like LG are working on a new smart TV, although it would appear that LG are looking for an alternative to Google’s TV software, and may be building a smart TV on HP’s open webOS platform.

Open webOS Professional Edition is a version of webOS offered by Gram to OEM manufacturers, and according to a report by webOS Nation, LG are working with Gram to produce a smart TV that uses the webOS platform.

According to the report LG and Gram have been working together for a few months to port webOS to a large screen TV, and they are also apparently developing a number of apps for the platform.

There are no details as yet on when LG intend to release a new smart TV with webOS as the platform as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.

Apple announced their new 13 inc Retina MacBook Pro the other day, along with the new iPad Mini, we have already seen Apple’s new iPad Mini TV advert and now Apple has released one for the new 13 inch Retina MacBook Pro.


The 13 inch retina MacBook Pro comes with a 13.3 inch Retina Display that features a resolution of 2,560 by 1,600 at 227 pixels per inch (ppi), and it comes with a choice of either an Intel i5 or i7 processors.

Corning has announced in their latest quarterly earnings release that their Gorilla Glass is used on more than 1 billion devices around the world, the glass is used on some of the most popular smartphones and tablets.

Gorilla Glass is used by companies like Apple, Nokia, Dell, HP, LG, Sony Lenovo and more, and it is designed to be tough and scratch resistant, which has made it popular with smartphone and tablet makers.

Corning also talked about their new Willow Glass, which is an ultra slim flexible glass that is designed to be used in electronic devices, and it could improve production of LCD and OLED panels and also change the shape and design of future devices.

J&W have launched a new Android Mini PC this week, which has been created to try and make Android computing a little more mainstream and provides a small form factor Mini PC for just €99.

The new J&W Minix Neo X5 Android mini PC is powered by a Rockchip Dual Core Cortex A9 CPU, supported by 1GB of DDR3 memory and graphics provided by a Quad Core Mali 400 GPU.

Out of the box the Minix Neo X5 runs Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system, but its not been mentioned if an upgrade to Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system is currently in the works.

Yesterday Apple announced a wealth of new products to its range devices, unveiling a new iPad Mini, 13 inch retina display Macbook Pro, slimmer and more powerful iMac desktop computer and a more powerful 4th generation iPad.

However consumers who thought that a new iPad wasn’t going to be released by Apple until next year, might be a little upset if they have recently purchased the now older 3rd generation iPad.

If you fall into this category of consumer who has just purchased a 3rd generation iPad in the last 30 days, need not worry as Apple has announced that they will exchange your older 3rd generation  iPad for a new 4th generation iPad. CNET explains

As well as announcing the new iPad Mini, Apple also updated its iPad which makes the device Apple’s 4th generation iPad, and it features a new faster A6X processor and Apple’s new Lightning dock connector.

The design of the device remains the same, apart for the lightning connector, and it features the same retina display as in the iPad 3, and pricing is the same as the previous generation with prices starting at $499 for the 16GB WiFi model.

The new iPad will also go up for pre-order this Friday the 26th of October, and will start shipping on Friday November 2nd for the WiFi model and two weeks later for the WiFi and Cellular model.

The Asus Vivo Tab RT recently went up for pre-order and the device will launch this Friday the 26th of October and will retail for $599 for the 32GB version and this price also includes the keyboard dock.

The Asus Vivo Tab RT features a 10 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and processing is provided by a quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and it comes with Windows RT.

Other specifications on the Asus Vivo Tab RT include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built in storage, plus an 8 megapixel camera with an f/2.2 lens and auto-focus, it also comes with a keyboard dock which has a built in battery and a USB 2.0 port.

As well as announcing the launch date for their new Vivo Tab RT Windows 8 tablet as October 26th, not surprisingly the same day that Microsoft launches its new Windows 8 operating system.

Asus has also taken the wraps off its new All-in-one desktop the ET2300, a 23 inch device with a screen that can be position to rest nearly flat on a desktop. Allowing easier access to the screen when being used as a touchscreen device, offering a horizontal viewing angle of 178 degrees, when totally flat.

The Asus ET2300 can be equipped with a choice of Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors, supported by up to 8GB of Ram and a NVIDIA’s GT 630M graphics with up to 2GB of onboard graphics memory available if required.
