The New 4th Generation iPad "iPad 5" Apple Announces
As well as announcing the new iPad Mini, Apple
also updated its iPad which makes the device Apple’s 4th generation
iPad, and it features a new faster A6X processor and Apple’s new
Lightning dock connector.
The design of the device remains the
same, apart for the lightning connector, and it features the same retina
display as in the iPad 3, and pricing is the same as the previous
generation with prices starting at $499 for the 16GB WiFi model.
The new iPad
will also go up for pre-order this Friday the 26th of October, and will
start shipping on Friday November 2nd for the WiFi model and two weeks
later for the WiFi and Cellular model.
