It looks like owners of Google’s flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus are experiencing another problem with their new Android Ice Cream Sandwich device. There have been a number of reports of a bug that causes the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to randomly reboot and the problem appears to be happening to owners of both the GSM version and the LTE version of the Galaxy Nexus.
A
number of users have reported the problem over at the Google support
forums, and Google have said on there that they are aware of the issue,
although they haven’t released any information on a possible fix. The
reboots seem to be somewhat random, with some users reporting it
occurring whilst listening to music or playing games, whilst other users
have noticed that their device has rebooted whilst idle. We
recently reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and have been testing the
device out over the last two weeks, I myself have not come across the
issue. If you have experienced a similar problem, please leave a
comment and let us know as we are interested to find out just how
widespread the problem actually is.
