Manufacturer Pipo has announced the launch of a new quad core Android tablet this month unveiling their new Pipo M8pro Android tablet which is powered by a Rockchip RK3188 ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core chip.

The Rockchip RK3188 quad-core chip in the Pipo M8pro is supported by 2GB of RAM, and its fitted with a 9.4-inch screen sporting a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

The Pipo M8pro comes supplied running Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and features 16GB of on-board storage. Together with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion when required, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, a HDMI output.

Asus has announced that it will be launching a new Republic of Gamers (ROG) branded PCIe solid state disk (SSD) next month, in the form of the RAIDR Express.

Spscific details on the new Asus RAIDR Express are still a little scarce at the moment, but the new solid state disk (SSD) was first unveiled back in CES earlier this year.

However what we do know is that the new Republic of Gamers PCIe solid state disk (SSD) will provide 830MB/s read and 810MB/s writes, and will feature Toshiba MLC NAND.

The HTC One went on sale in the US last Friday with a range of mobile carriers, and now the unlocked version of the HTC One is also available in the US, this is for the 32GB model of the handset and it retails for $575.

This is not the same as the HTC One Developer Edition that we heard about earlier, as it does not come with the unlocked bootloader, it is being sold through a number of retailers in the US.

Verizon has announced that they will be holding a press event on the 22nd of May, and whilst they did not give any specific details about what will be announced at the event we suspect it may be the new Verizon Nokia Lumia 928.

The Nokia Lumia 928 will be Verizon’s version of the Lumia 920, with some updated specifications, which will include a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels.

Other rumored specifications on the Nokia Lumia 928 include a dual core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, plus an 8.7 megapixel camera with an LED and Xenon flash.

Some of our readers will remember the Pantech Perception for Verizon Wireless that we heard about back in February, and now it would appear that the device will launch this week on the 25th of April.

As a reminder the Pantech Perception features a 4.8 inch HD display with a 1280 x 768 pixel resolution, the device is rumored to be powered by a quad core processor and will come with 4G LTE.

As yet we do not know exactly what processor the Pantech Perception will feature, although it could be a quad core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, it is also rumored to come with 1GB of RAM.

With just four days to go before the new Divinity Original Sin RPG game is successfully funded via Kickstarter a new hour long gameplay trailer has been released after Larian Studios teamed up with Let’s Play purveyor quill18.

The Divinity Original Sin trailer obviously shows very early footage of the game and does not represent the final product, however is does give you a good feel for the game and what you can expect from the final version when it releases.
