Some of our reader might remember the awesome indie stealth puzzler game called Gunpoint we featured here on Geeky Gadgets back in November 2011.
Well the Indie PC puzzler and 2012 IGF finalist Gunpoint will soon be
arriving on Valve’s Steam gaming network for you to enjoy. Watch the

Google
recently launched their Google Glass for developers, and now Google’s
Eric Schmidt has announced that the consumer version of Google Glass is
expected to launch in 2014.
In a recent interview with the BBC, Schmidt hinted that we can expect
to see the consumer version of Google Glass launch next year, you can
see what he had to say below.
"Well, the developers are beginning now. It would be fair to say
that there will be thousands of these in use by developers over the next
months and based on their feedback we’ll make some product changes and

A photograph and some specifications have been leaked of a new
Windows 8 tablet from Acer, the Acer W3-810, which will come with an 8
inch display and will be powered by a 1.8GHz Intel Atom processor.
As you can see from the photo below, the Acer W3-810 will come with a keyboard dock, unfortunately we do not have any other information on the tablets specifications as yet.
As soon as we get some more information on the Acer W3-810 Windows 8
tablet, including some more photos and a full list of specifications we

Leap Motion has announced that their new motion control system has
now been integrated within Google Earth 7.1, and now allows users to
navigate the world with Leap Motion’s 3D controller.
This week Google has launched their new Google Earth Pro 7.1 which
allows you to view any location in the world or even locations outside

Google has announced that their Google Street View is now available
in 50 different countries around the world, the 50th country to get the
mapping service is Hungary, and Google are also expanding their coverage
in Poland and Romania.
Google originally launched Street View back in 2007, back then the
service was available in a total of five cities in the US, so things
have expanded quite a bit over the last six years.
Today, we’ve reached 50 countries with the launch of Street View
in Hungary and Lesotho and are significantly expanding our coverage in
Poland and Romania, among other locations around the world. This is also
the largest single update of Street View imagery we’ve ever pushed,
including new and updated imagery for nearly 350,000 miles of roads
across 14 countries.

We have already seen a photo of the black version of the Verizon Nokia Lumia 928,
and now we have a photo of the white version of the handset that you
can see below, we are expecting the Lumia 928 to be announced by Verizon
on the 22nd of May.
Yesterday we heard that Verizon will be holding a press event on the
22nd of May, and whilst they haven’t announced what they will unveil we
are expecting them to announce the Verizon Nokia Lumia 928.
The Verizon Nokia Lumia 928 is rumored to feature a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, processing will be provided by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz.

The Samsung Galaxy S
relay 4G launched on T-Mobile last year, the handset came with Android
4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, and now T-Mobile has released the
Android Jelly Bean update for the device.

A new concept bike currently under development called the
SandwichBike, provides cyclists with a unique way to build and customise
their ride.
The SandwichBike has been created by Basten Leijh who had to rethink
every aspect of the classic velocipede, to create a kit that can be

maker Freelander has this month announced a new addition to its range
of Android devices with the launch of the new Freelander PD800HD Android tablet.
The Freelander PD800HD is equipped with Samsung’s 1.7 GHz Exynos 5250
dual-core processor, together with a 9.7 inch IPS display sporting a
resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
The Exynos 5250 dual-core processor within the Freelander PD800HD tablet is supported by 2GB of RAM and 16GB

Over on the Major Nelson website, official details of the new Gears
of War Judgment Call to Arms map pack have been released, revealing what
you can expect from the three new maps.

We have heard a number of different rumors about the Samsung Galaxy
Note 3 over the last few weeks, we previously heard that the handset
would feature some sort of unbreakable display.
Now according to a recent report by Sammobile, this unbreakable
display on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be a plastic OLED display,
which is apparently thinner and lighter than standard glass substrate
OLED displays.
The plastic OLED display on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to
measure 5.99 inches, and Samsung are rumored to be launching the device
at IFA later in the year, of course this has yet to be confirmed by

Back in 2011 Twitter purchased the popular mobile application TweetDeck, the company announced recently that they would close the app in May, which means that the application will no longer function on iOS or Android.
Twitter has now announced that TweeDeck will close on the 7th of May,
which means from the 7th of May onwards you will no longer be able to
use the application on Google’s Android platform and Apple’s iOS
platform.
TweetDeck AIR, TweetDeck for Android and TweetDeck for iPhone
will be removed from their respective app stores and will stop
functioning on May 7. Our Facebook integration will also stop on May 7.

The Samsung Galaxy Fame recently went on sale in Europe, and now the SIM
free version of the handset is available to pre-order in the UK, the
handset will be available from next week for £172.98 including taxes.

Nokia has posted a photo of a new smartphone to their blog, the photo
can be seen below, and as you can see it looks like this new Nokia
smartphone will feature a QWERTY keyboard.
Nokia also posted a message along with the photo, saying that this
new smartphone will be announced this Wednesday the 24th of April at 7AM
GMT, unfortunately they didn’t share any other specifications about the
device.
As you can see from the photo, this new Nokia smartphone features a
similar color scheme to Nokia’s existing Lumia Windows Phone smartphone
range, although this new device is expected to be part of Nokia’s Asha
range of devices rather than a Nokia Lumia device.

A recent survey conducted by ChangeWave Research was published on Friday they look at the likelihood of consumers across America to purchase an Apple
iWatch. According to the survey, 19% of consumers are very likely or
somewhat likely to purchase an Apple smart watch. The survey found that
5% of those polled are very likely to purchase the iWatch.
Another 14% were somewhat likely to make the purchase. Apple hasn’t
officially confirmed that it is working on an iWatch, but rumors and
reports continue to circulate that the device is coming. Apple has a
long and successful track record of launching new product categories
