Nike has today rolled out a new update to their Nike+ FuelBand iOS application which brings with a number of new social features including Nike+ Friends, that allows you to compare your Fuel point scores with friends who are also equipped with a Nike+ FuelBand.

Other new features added to the Nike+ FuelBand iOS app now allow users to can attach photos, locations and mentions of nearby friends to compete with and keep you on track to your daily goal.

Nike+ Friends lets you access custom leaderboards using your iOS device and allows you to compare your performance with friends who also have a Nike+ FuelBand. Nike explains:

"Just had your best day ever? Add a photo and share it to highlight where you were and who you were with when you hit your goal.”
