Sony announced a number of devices at this years CES, which include
the new Sony Xperia Z smartphone and also the new Cybershot RX1, and now
they have put together a video of the devices being put together.
The video below shows three devices being put together in a sort of
reverse teardown, and as well as the Sony Xperia Z and the Cybershot RX1
it also includes one of their new HD camcorders.
We suspect that this isn’t how these devices are out together on
Sony’s production line, and the majority of the building of each device
will probably be automated.
Yamaha has this week announced new additions to its range of audio
systems with the unveiling of its new TSX-132 and TSX-B232 desktop, and
the MCR-042 and MCR-B142 micro audio systems.
The Yamaha MCR-B142 and MCR-042 both put out 30W of sound via
connections made by USB, aux-in and Apple’s older 30 pin devices,
together with CDs if preferred.
The TSX-B232 and MCR-B142 models are both equipped with Bluetooth
connectivity, allowing users to wirelessly stream music to these systems
from smartphones and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. The systems

Motorola had previously said that they would be updating the Atrix 2
to Android Jelly Bean, Motorola changed their minds on this last year
and instead offered owners of the device a $100 credit towards the
purchase of a new Motorola device.
Motorola were obviously working on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the
Atrix 2, but decided not to release it, however there is good news for
owners of the device as the official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM for the
Atrix 2 has been leaked.
The guys over at the XDA Developers have managed to get their hands
on the official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM for the Atrix 2, you can find
out more information on how to get in on your device over at the XDA Developers forum.
HP has this week announced that is will be launching a new line of
monitors on February 3rd 2013 that will come equipped with Beats audio
technology.
The new range of HP Beats monitors will feature IPS displays, and
were unveiled at CS 2013 last week, and have been created as part of
a collaboration between HP and Dr. Dre.
The new monitors
will offer users 178 degrees horizontally and vertically and
feature edge-to-edge glass and super thin design, measuring just 13.95
mm at the top and ranging from 15.6 inches up to 27 inches. For more

Corsair has this week unveiled new addition to its liquid cooling range with the launch of the Hydro Series liquid CPU coolers H110 equipped dual fans and the single-fan H90 pictured below.
The H110 is equipped with a
double-length 280mm by 140mm radiator with side-by-side fan mounts, and
each fan is a low-speed 140mm static pressure fan, which Corsair claims
will push "much more” air per decibel of noise compared to 120mm fans.
Corsair’s H90 cooling solutionis a single-fan liquid cooler with a
more compact square 140mm radiator, and just like the the H110, it’s
designed to run quiet while still offering superb cooling performance.
The H110 and H90 are available now for $130 and $100, respectively.
Michigan State University (MSU) has unveiled a newly updated Robofish
they have designed and built, which has the ability to glide through
water practically indefinitely.
The Robofish has been created by
Xiaobo Tan, MSU associate professor of electrical and computer
engineering, and uses little to no energy, while its gathers information
about the pollution in the water its swimming through.
Robofish
is equipped with an array of sensors measure water temperature, quality
and other pertinent facts, in the latest update its creators have also
renamed it calling the creation Grace, stands for "Gliding Robot ACE.”.

Samsung
and Apple are in the middle of a number of lawsuits around the world,
and now a Dutch court has ruled in Samsung’s favor, a court in The Hague
has decided that Samsung’s Galaxy Tab tablet does not infringe on the design of Apple’s iPad.
The Dutch court ruled that the Samsung Galaxy
Tab 7.7, Galaxy Tab 8.9 and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 do not infringe on
Apple’s design for the iPad, the court also looked at recent rulings
from the British court which also ruled in Samsung’s favor.
Samsung may have won this one, but the two companies are still
engaged in a number of different lawsuits, and we are still waiting to
find out what is happening with the $1 billion in damaged that Apple was
awarded by Samsung in a US court.
Leap Motion the creators of the small Leap motion gesture controller that is 200 times more accurate than Microsoft’s Kinect gesture controller. Has this week announced that they are partnering with Best Buy to offer customers an exclusive package.
The new Best Buy Exclusive Leap Motion package is expected to be
available to pre-order from next month and will finally be available
from both the Best Buy website and high street stores, throughout the
US.
Once officially launched the Leap gesture control device will also ship with its own app store,
and the leap gesture controller is also expected to be available in
