Anyone who is looking for a more unique timepiece to wear on their wrist, might be interested in the new Limited Edition C3H5N3O9 "Nitro” Experiment ZR012 Timepiece which has just been unveiled.

Panasonic has today announced a new version of its Toughbook SX2, which has now been slimmed down but is still hard enough to withstand knocks and bumps.

Panasonic have equipped their new SX2 Toughbook with an Intel Core i5-3320M vPro processor 3MB cache, up to 3.3GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, together with a 12.1 inch LED backlit screen encased in a magnesium alloy body.

Unfortunately earlier in the week Felix Baumgartner had to delay his space jump from 120,000 feet, due to windy weather conditions. However hopefully if the weather allows, he will be re-attempting to jump this Sunday 14th at 8:30am EDT.


Taking him up to 120,000 feet height above the Earth is a special balloon called the Red Bull Stratos, which has been specially created to hold a colossal 30 million cubic foot (843,497 cubic meters) of helium gas.

ThinkGeek has gone official with the new product called the Mega Stomp Panic Audio Reality Costume. This device is a little belt worn box that provides motion sound effects to go along with your feigned rage. This has to be the perfect accessory to go along with an Incredible Hulk costume for Halloween.

The device can make a number of different sound effects, with nine different sounds in all. The sound effects include giant robot, rainstorm, zombie attack, gigantic monster, gunslinger, medieval knight, pirate, and 8-bit gaming hero, or a giant steam punk robot. Depending on the mode each step per stomp will activate a sound effect.

Google has been working on updating its Street View in Google Maps, the update is now live and it covers a massive 250,000 miles of roads, and refreshes the content from the previous version.

According to Google this is their largest update to date, and they have increased their coverage of roads in the United States, Italy, Great Britain, Sweden and a range of other countries.

This week Asus has taken the wraps off its new Windows 8 ready all-in-one desktop PC in the form of the Asus ET2701, which is equipped with a 27 inch frameless, 10-point capacitive touchscreen LED backlit display.

It has been revealed today that Twitter has acquired the video clip service Vine, that never actually launched their new new video clipping service service as a public release.

As rumours have suggested over the past month the acquisition of Vine seems to point towards Twitter moving to compete and maybe replacing third-party Twitter options such as TwitVid, Posterous, and Mobypicture.

New start-up Vine launched earlier this year in June and currently has only three employees, however no official information has been released by Twitter or Vine, revealing details of the acquisition.

Both companies have been contacted regarding the new acquisition, and as always we will keep you updated as more official information surfaces.
