Electronic Arts has today announced and released a demo of its
new Need for Speed: Most Wanted driving game on to the Sony PlayStation
Network and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Xbox Live games network, for you to enjoy.
The
newly released Most Wanted demo puts gamers behind the wheel of one of
the titles most recognisable, cars, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage. But
players also have access to three additional cars placed in different
areas of Fairhaven.
Including the awesome Porsche 911 Carrera S, the Audi R8 GT Spyder and the Ford Focus RS500. Electronic Arts explains:

announced that in just its first day of release clocked up a massive

their latest creation a tiny Instagram project, called Projecteo.
The
tiny Projecteo projector allows you to view Instagram photos, using a
35mm slide film you create online, which each one holding nine images.

Elliptic Labs has developed a new touchless gesture control system for Microsoft’s latest Windows 8 operating system, which has been designed to enable users to take advantage of natural gesturing to navigate Windows 8.
The
new system unveiled by Elliptic Labs uses ultrasonic touchless
technology, and uses up to 95% less power than existing camera
image-based gestural systems which are currently on the market, says

We have seen lots of leaked photos of the new HTC Droid DNA over the last few weeks, and now HTC and Verizon have made the device official and we have full details on this new HTC Android smartphone for Verizon Wireless.
The
HTC Droid DNA features a 5 inch Full HD display with a resolution of
1920 x 1080p and 440ppi, processing is provided by a quad core Qualcomm
Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, clocked at 1.5GHz.
Other
specifications on the Droid DNA include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in
storage, and the device comes with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and HTC Sense 4+, there is also Bluetooth and NFC.

Now that Google has launched Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, many owners of devices will be wondering if their device will be getting the Android 4.2 update, and it would appear that there are two devices that unfortunately will not get the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update.
Google
recently posted the source code of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean to AOSP, and
also revealed some information about the Motorola Xoom tablet and the Nexus S smartphone with regards to Android 4.2, which you can see below.
-There is no support for 4.2 on Nexus S and Xoom. Those devices should continue using 4.1.2
So it looks like both the Motorola Xoom and The Google Nexus S will remain on Android 4.1.2 and will not be getting updated to Android 4.2 in the future.
On Monday we heard that Motorola had finished the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Droid RAZR M smartphone on Verizon Wieless, and that the update was being tested on certain devices.
Now it would appear that Verizon has started rolling out the Android
4.1 Jelly Bean update to the Droid RAZR M, as a number of owners of the
device have reported receiving the update.

Google’s latest Android devices,
which come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean were released yesterday, the
list includes the new Google Nexus 4 smartphone, the Google Nexus 10

announced the release of the Android 4.2 SDK, which is now available to

A new work in progress video has been released by Wing Commander
creator Chris Roberts for his latest project "Star Citizen”, which is
currently in development and was successfully crowd funded.
Crowd
funding secured Roberts with $3.38 million with nearly 50,000 backers

Blizzard has today revealed that the new expansion StarCraft 2 Heart
of the Swarm will be launching next year on March 12th, 2013, and will
span approximately 20 missions.
The new StarCraft II Heart of the Swarm expansion for the PC only exclusive real-time strategy game, will be available to purchase for around £45 for the digital copy, which will include Heart of the Swarm and Wings of Liberty.
Details
of the contents for the Digital Deluxe edition, have also been
published on the Battle.net website, revealing that the digital copy of
the expansion will come with in-game bonus items for use in StarCraft 2, World of Warcraft and Diablo 3.

Vuzix has today taken the wraps off its new Google
Glasses style wearable Android computer, in the form of the new Vuzix
Smart Glasses M100, which is equipped with 3-axis head tracker,
gyroscope, GPS, and a digital compass.
The new Vuzix Smart Glasses M100 are expected to officially launch in
early 2013, and will be supplied running a custom version of Google’s
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.

This month Cray’s Titan supercomputer has claimed the title for the
world’s fastest, beating the National Nuclear Security Administration’s
Sequoia supercomputer, which previously held the first place position.
The latest Cray supercomputer named Titan is powered by a combination
of CPUs and GPUs, which feature 18,688 nodes, each of which contains an
AMD 16-core Opteron and a NVIDIA Tesla K20X GPU accelerator, equating to a massive 560,640 processors in total.
The 560,640 processors are capable of generating 17.59 quadrillion
operations per second, beating the Sequoia supercomputer, which was only
able to manage a measly 16.32 quadrillion operations a second.

As you might already know Halo 4 made $220 million in global sales in
its first 24 hours after launch, which was accompanied by the official

prototype of a Vibrative Virtual Keyboard for Apple’s iPhone smartphone.

Following on from the leaked details of Acer’s new AC710 Chromebook
yesterday, today Google and Acer has announced the launch of the new
Acer C7 Chromebook, running Google’s Chrome operating system.
The
new Acer C7 Chromebook has been designed to offer users a hassle-free
computing experience, together with built-in security. As detailed
yesterday the new Acer Chromebook is equipped with 11.6 inch display
combined with a battery that is capable of providing over 3.5 hours of
use.
Acer’s
new C7 Chromebook is powered by an 1.1 GHz Intel Celeron 847 Sandy
Bridge processor supported by 2GB of RAM, and includes a 320GB hard
drive and 100GB of free storage on Google Drive. Google explains:
The HTC
One X+ has been available in the UK for a short while, and now the
device is headed to the US and will be available with AT&T from the
16th of November, the device is now available to pre-order.
AT&T are offering the HTC One X+ for $199.99 when you sign up to a
new two year contract with the carrier, the device will also retail for
$549.99 without a contract.
The HTC One X+ comes with a 4.7 inch HD multi-touch display,

US mobile carrier AT&T will start offering Samsung’s new Android
powered camera on the 16th of November, the Samsung Galaxy Camera, and
the device will retail for $499.
The Samsung Galaxy Camera is powered a a quad core 1.4GHZ processor and comes with a 16 megapixel sensor and a 4.8 inch touchscreen display, plus a pop up Xenon Flash and 21x optical zoom.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Camera include 8GB of built in storage, a microSD card slot
and 50GB of Dropbox storage for two years, it also comes with a WiFi
and 3G data connection, plus a HDMI port and a microUSB port.

a new gadget, someone always thinks their designs would look better

Microsoft has confirmed this week that the new DirectX
11.1 is exclusive to Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system,
with Microsoft’s Daniel Moth writing a reply on the Microsoft Answers
forum.
Microsoft’s DirectX 11.1 brings with it a wealth of new features and enhancements including parts of the XNA
framework, enhanced cooperation between Direct3D, Direct2D and
DirectCompute GPU acceleration models, an a new software rasteriser
dubbed WARP.
Answering a developer’s question about the WARP Microsoft’s Daniel Moth explained:

After recently launching earlier this month Assassins Creed
3 clocked up sales of more than 3.5 million copies in its first week,
showing that the series of games is still welcome and in demand by
gamers worldwide.
Following on from this news Ubisoft chief sales and marketing officer
Geoffroy Sardin revealed to GamesIndustry International, that a
new Assassin’s Creed Movie will be released in "the next coming year”.
Its still a little unclear as to
what Sardin exactly meant by ”the next coming year”, could it be 2013 or
2014? What are your thoughts? With work on the screenplay rumoured to
only have started last month, its more likely to be released in 2014 but
we can always hope.
