We have featured a number of wearable action cameras here on Geeky Gadgets over the years but Oregon Scientific has created a rather unique action camea that is equipped with dual lenses.

The dual lenses have been added to captures videos in two preset angles, at FOV110 degree with a resolution of 1280 x 720p at 30fps per lens providing a total of 1080p. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.

Sapphire the hardware manufacturer well know for its graphics cards range of products, has this week unveiled a new addition to their range in the form of the Sapphire Edge VS8 mini desktop PC.

The Sapphire Edge VS8 is equipped with a 1.6 GHz AMD A8 processor with Radeon HD 7600G graphics, suported by 4GB of RAM enabling it to handle both HD video and DirectX 11.

Microsoft has hit a new milestone with its Windows 8 Store, there are now more than 20,000 applications for Windows 8 available to download, which means that more than 7,000 apps have been added to the Windows 8 Store in the last two weeks.

Out of the 20,000 plus apps available in the Windows 8 Store, more than 18,000 of these applications are free apps, and out of the total apps around 13,000 are available in the US, 14,000 in Canada and around 11,000 available in the UK.


It looks like Microsoft is on target to hit the 30,000 available apps by the end of the year if it continues with the current rate of adding around 500 applications per day.

It will be interesting to see where the Windows 8 App Store is in 12 months time, as more developers start to develop applications for Windows 8. ... Read more »

We recently heard that the HTC DLX is due to launch in China next month, we have already seen some leaked photos of the device, but now we have a new photo which appears to be an official press shot of the handset.

The HTC DLX is rumored  to have similar specifications to the HTC J Butterfly and the new Droid DNA, which will include a 5 inch full HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
