The awesome Shadowgun: Deadzone game designed for iOS and Android tablets, has now left its beta development stage which it has been in the last month, and is now set to be released on November 15th 2012.

Shadowgun Deadzone will provides players with the choice of ten playable characters and multiple maps. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Shadowgun Deadzone game and see it in action.

Once Shadowgun: Deadzone launches in the Google Play Store and Apple iTunes Store on November 15th its expected to be free-to-play, and will support Bluetooth controllers allowing you to enjoy the game without cluttering the tablets screen with your fingers.

Last month it was rumoured that Microsoft was gearing up to release it MS Office Suite of software for Android and iOS in March 2013. Although nothing had been confirmed by Microsoft.

Today however the Verge technology website is reporting that several sources close to the development of the MS Office software have revealed that Microsoft is planning to release MS Office for both Android and iOS in early 2013, presumably earlier than March 2013.

The new Microsoft Office Mobile suite of software will be launched in the form of free applications, enabling Android and iOS users to view Microsoft Office documents on the move from their smartphones and tablets. The Verge explains:

As well as announcing their high end HTC Windows Phone 8X, HTC also announced a budget Windows Phone 8 smartphone a while back, and now it would appear that the new HTC Windows Phone 8S is getting ready to launch in the US, as the device has appeared at the FCC.

The HTC Windows Phone 8S has turned up at the FCC with support for both AT&T and T-Mobile HSPA bands, so it looks like the device will be headed to the US shortly.

The HTC 8S is powered by a dual core Qualcomm S4 1GHz processor and it comes with 16GB of storage, and a microSD card slot , plus 512MB of RAM.

Other specifications on the HTC 8S include a 5 megapixel rear facing camera for photos and video which features and led flash and auto-focus and can record HD video in 720.

Lenovo has this week launched its new IdeaTab A2107 Android tablet in the US for $150, which comes supplied running Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.

The Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 is powered by a 1 GHz MTK 6575 ARM Cortex-A9 single core processor, supported by 512MB of RAM and includes 8GB of internal storage.

Its fitted with a 7 inch Active Matrix TFT Color LCD screen sporting a resolution of 1024 x 600, together with an accelerometer, microphone, and ambient light sensor. Lenovo explains:

Sony has announced a new software update for a couple of its Xperia smartphones, the Sony Xperia T and Sony Xperia TX, and both devices will now get the Android 4.0.4 ice Cream Sandwich update.

Sony has said that the software updates for both devices will start this week, and will be rolled out globally, although they have said that the availability for the updates will vary my market and carrier.

Aliens and Halo fans are sure to enjoy this awesome video by YouTube user Cold Vengeance which has spliced  the classic Aliens sci-fi flick with Halo’s HD remake, check it out after the jump… game over man! Game over!

The fans made video uses the audio from James Cameron’s Aliens movie and combines it with the footage from Halo Anniversary. Cold Vengeance explains that this is not the first time he has done this and this movie  is a re-make from another video created 10 years ago.

Apple has sent out emails to people who previously used their MobileMe service, and is offering them a new iCloud email address, when Apple launched iCloud, anyone who signed up to the service was automatically given an iCloud.com email address.

MobileMe users who previously had a me.com email address used this address for iCloud, and now you can choose to either continue to use your me.com email or have a new iCloud.com email from Apple.

If you sign up to the new iCloud email address with Apple, any mail that is sent to your previous me.com email will automatically be forwarded to your new email address.
