The Samsung Galaxy Fame recently went on sale in Europe, and now the SIM free version of the handset is available to pre-order in the UK, the handset will be available from next week for £172.98 including taxes.

The Samsung Galaxy Fame is designed to be a budget Android handset, and it comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and features a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, plus 4GB of built in storage.

Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Fame include a 3.5 inch TFT display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, the device features a 5 megapixel rear camera for photos and video, plus a front facing camera for video calls.
