Google has rolled another small enhancement to its Google+ social
network with the addition of stars which can now be used to
bookmark memorable posts with Google+.
The new Star feature has been added to create and internal
bookmarking system for personal use rather than using the +1 button
which is more for public bookmarking and sharing.
The new star is now located in the top
right hand corner of each post, together with a "Starred” option added
to the bottom of the circles list in the left menu list from which you
can review them.

The Samsung Galaxy S II
have been a great success for Samsung it is due to hit the US next
month, and now it looks like Samsung will also be releasing a white
version of the S II in the UK next month.
The white Samsung Galaxy S II will be available SIM free from a
number of UK retailers, and it looks like it will retail for around £492
SIM free including taxes.
Unfortunately there are no photos of it as yet, so you will have to make do with the standard one above, UK retailer Clove as well as some other retailers will start selling the white Samsung Galaxy S II from the 15th of August in the UK.

If you are looking forward to the launch of Diablo 3 you might
be interested to know that it has been unveiled the new game will come
with a real money in-game auction house where players can trade for
in-game items.
The in-game auction houses will allow players to sell items from
player to player, one will use in game gold as its currency and the
other will use real money. Players will be able to list their items up
for sale in each of the game’s various regions around the world, and
other players will then be able to spend real money to acquire the
in-game goods, with Blizzard taking a fixed fee for the transaction.

We know that Sony will release their latest handheld gaming console
before Christmas, unfortunately Sony hasn’t announced an exact launch
date, but now it looks like it may launch on the 28th of October, the
last date we heard was the 4th of November.
The guys over at IGN have received a copy of an avert from
Blockbuster here in the UK which shows a launch date of the 28th of
October although it does say to be confirmed on the advert.
The Sony PS Vita features a 5 inch multi-touch OLED display, on the
back of the Vita there is also a multi-touch pad which can be used for
controlling games along with the two analog sticks on the front of the
console.

Google recently lost out to a consortium of companies, which included
Apple in the recent sale of various Nortel Patents, Google originally
offered around $900 million for the Nortel patents, which eventually sold for $4.5 billion.
Now it would seem that Google has found to some patents to add to
their arsenal, and have recently purchased over 1,030 patents form IBM,
which cover a wide range of things including the fabrication and
architecture of memory and micro processing chips, and much more, the
purchase was originally uncovered by SEO by the Sea.
Google purchased the 1,030 patents in early July, there are no
details as yet on how much the company paid for them, but they did

The recently announced Nintendo 3DS price cut almost made us wish
there were enough games out for the thing to make us care about the
news. Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, however, has gotten around that
problem by footing some of the bill, as well as the responsibility for
the handheld’s less than stellar sales himself. Colour us intrigued.

Google has today rolled out a new feature to its beta Google+ social
networking service, that’s been designed to help you stay up to date
with the latest features added to the new Google+ service.
The recently added "What’s new in Google+”
section enables you to read release notes for new features
and developments within Google+ and contains a number of YouTube video’s
explaining the features in detail and their purpose. Googler Natalie

Microsoft launched its new online Office 365 service last month aimed at professionals and business and of course as a competitor to Google’s online Gmail and documents service.
Well this week Microsoft showed a comic 50′s sitcom styled videos
aimed at highlighting a few of the pitfalls of using Google’s Gmail
service, using a new character called "Gmail Man” which was shown at
the Microsoft Global Experience to Microsoft employees. Watch the leaked
