Robot but cant quite find the $400,000 in change to place the order. You
might be please to know Willow Garage has now unveiled a new
and relatively cheaper model called the PR2 SE.
Unfortunately to save on costs and hit the cheaper $285,000 price

The Spire Boat is a speed boat which has been designed by Thierry
Mugler Studio, and as you can see from the photos below, the Spire Boat
has taken some of its design inspiration from the original bat mobile.
The Spire Boat will be presented at the Monaco Yacht Show in
September, and it looks like the company behind this crazy looking
speedboat have already received some orders for the Spire Boat.
There are no details how much the Spire Boat will cost, but we
suspect this will be one for the Bruce Wayne types as it will probably
cost a small fortune.
We have featured quite a few different accessories for the iPad here at Geeky Gadgets, but I think this is the first iPad dedicated table we have featured, and it has been made from a combination of reclaimed wood from shipping pallets and glass.
The iPallet Table even comes with its own built in 30 pin dock
connector, so you can charge and sync your iPad whilst using the table,
and from the photos it looks like it can store two iPads
Should you want one of these iPallet iPad tables, they are available for $100 each from Etsy,
and don’t worry of you don’t own an iPad, you can also have a custom
one made forn virtually any electronic device, what about a Kindle
version or an Android tablet version?
If you have a few old computers lying around you could put them to good use and create some geeky footwear
or clothing like the Data Sandals pictured below. They have been
created from a multitude of unwanted electronic components including
data wire, motherboards and batteries, by Etsy member and artist Steven
Rodrig.
Rodrig uses the printed circuit boards from discarded computers and
other electronic items to create weird and wonderful creations, some of
which are available to purchase on Etsy.
They may not be the most comfortable shoes
on the block, but they have to win 1st place for the most geeky pair of
sandals. If you think they will suit a geeky outfit you already have,
the Data Sandals are now available to purchase for $350 from the Etsy store.

covered in scratch resistant and tempered glass, it also features a 3.2
megapixel camera with and LED flash which can also be used as a

Microsoft recently released Windows Phone 7 Mango to their
manufacturing partners, and we have already seen one Windows Phone Mango
smartphone announced, and now according to the guys over at ZDnet
Microsoft is working on Windows Phone Tango.
According to the report Windows Phone Tango, won’t be a follow up to
Windows Phone Mango instead it will be more like Windows Phone 7.1, and
it will introduce a new range of cheaper Windows Phone 7 smartphones.
One of my contacts who asked to remain anonymous said he believed
there would be at least one and maybe two Tango releases hitting before
the Windows Phone 8 Apollo release. He said Tango was "all about Nokia”
and focused on hitting the lower-price point for Windows Phones that
Microsoft and Nokia execs have been promising.
We have no details as yet on what sort of specifications we will see
in Windows Phone Tango smart

Using your iPhone or smartphone whilst driving your car isn’t exactly
the best idea, and is illegal in a lot of places, the latest iPhone
accessory doesn’t exactly seem like the best idea, and we don’t think it
would be the safest thing to use whilst you are driving, the Steer
Safe.
The Steer Safe is an attachment for your steering wheel that is
designed to house your iPhone 4, and let you use it on your steering
wheel, and the designers of the device say that it should only be used
when you vehicle is parked or stationary, although in the video they
seem to be using it whilst driving.
Should you want one of these devices, the Steer Safe is a Kickstarter project, and it will cost around $30 if it actually goes into production.
We have seen quite a few different design concepts for the iPhone
5, the latest one comes from the guys over at Mac Rumors, and the
design is based on a case from Chinese manufacturers which was
reportedly designed on the iPhone 5 specifications.
As you can see from the photos below, the design from the guys as Mac Rumors has many of the features that we have been hearing about over the last few months.
We are not sure if the iPhone 5 will look exactly like this one from
Mac Rumors, when it launches in September or October, what do you guys
think, leave a comment and let us know.
Yesterday we heard that Nokia would not be selling the new Nokia N9 MeeGo smartphone in the US, and now it looks like Nokia will be putting an end to sales of all Symbian devices as well, instead they will be concentrating their efforts on Windows Phone 7 devices.
Chris Weber, President of Nokia Inc, which is Nokia’s US subsidiary,
has been talking to All Things D, and has told them that Nokia will be
concentrating all their efforts in the US on Windows Phone 7.
"When we launch Windows Phones
we will essentially be out of the Symbian business, the S40 business,
etc., ” Nokia Inc. President Chris Weber said in an interview. "It will
be Windows Phone and the accessories around that. The reality is if we
are not successful with Windows Phone, it doesn’t matter what we do
(elsewhere).”
Nokia intends to develop their smartphones for North America, and then sell them

The last thing we heard about the new Nokia N9 MeeGo smartphone was that it would launch around the 23rd of September, this was after Nokia put up a countdown page on their site for the Nokia N9.
The countdown page has since been removed from Nokia’s website, and
the guys over at Engadget reached out to Nokia to find out when then N9
would land in the US, unfortunately it doesn’t look like it will be
headed to the US at all as Engadget received the following response from
Nokia.
"After the very positive reception to the launch of the Nokia N9,
the product is now being rolled out in countries around the world. At
this time we will not be making it available in the US. Nokia takes a
market by market approach to product rollout, and each country makes its
own decisions about which products to introduce from those available.
Decisions are based on an assessment of existing and upcoming pr
