"Publishers are getting the living crap kicked out of them by Microsoft.” We don’t do pull quotes, but that one kind of makes us wish we did. It belongs to Sony’s Rob Dyer, talking about Microsoft’s newly revealed and what you might call anti-competitive publishing practices.


"Titles for Xbox 360 must ship at least simultaneously with other video game platform, and must have at least feature and content parity on-disc with the other video game platform versions in all regions where the title is available. If these conditions are not met, Microsoft reserves the right to not allow the content to be released on Xbox 360,” reads Microsoft’s Content Submission and Release Policy.

Here is another new Samsung device which we missed from the other day, the Samsung Wave 3, which is a new Samsung Bada OS 2.0 device, and it will come with a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED Display.

Processing on  the Samsung Wave 3 comes from a 1.4GHz processor and it features a 5 megapixel camera on the back with auto-focus and an LED flash, plus a VGA camera up front for video chat.


The Samsung Wave 3 features 3GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB cars, it also features a 1,500 mAh battery, A-GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0.

Some of our readers will remember the new LG Optimus Sol smartphone that was leaked last month, LG has now officially announced the device and it looks like it will be headed to Europe later this month, and then the US shortly afterwards.

The LG Optimus Sol features a 3.8 inch WVGA Ultra AMOLED display, and according to LG the new display is supposed to make the devices screen easier to view in  direct sunlight.


Processing is provided by a single core 1GHz processor and it will come with Android Gingerbread and features a 5 megapixel camera on the back.

There are no details on pricing as yet, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.

Some of our readers will remember the new LG Thrill 4G which was due to launch on AT&T earlier this summer, good news if you have been waiting to get your hands on one as it will finally be available from AT&T on the 4th of September.

The LG Thrill is the AT&T branded version of LG’s Optimus 3D, and it comes with a 4.3 inch 3D display that can display 3D content without the need for 3D glasses, it will come with Android 2.2.


It comes with a dual core 1GHz processor, and there are two 5 megapixel cameras on the back that can record 3D HD video in 720p or 2D Full HD video in 1080p.

The LG Thrill 4G will be available with AT&T on the 4th of September for $99.99 and you will have to sign up for a new two year contract with AT&T.
