It looks like we have our second HD smartphone announcement for today, earlier we heard about the new Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE, and now KDDI in Japan is getting a new HD smartphone, the Arrows Z.
The Arrows Z is the work of Toshiba and Fujitsu, who have teamed up
to produce smartphones together and it comes with a range of impressive
specifications which include a 4.3 inch HD LCD multi-touch touchscreen
display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The Arrows Z comes with WiMax, plus Google’s Android Gingerbread
2.3.5 and a 13 megapixel camera on the back for photos and video which
can record full HD video in 1080p.
There is also a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera, and it features a dual core 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor plus 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a microSD card slot, there is also Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a digital TV tuner.
The Arrows Z will be available with mobile operator KDDI in Japan from November.
