The Samsung Galaxy S II
just went on sale in the US with a range of mobile carriers, and now
some reported specifications on the next generation Galaxy S smartphone,
the Samsung Galaxy S III have appeared online.
An anonymous member of 4Chan has reportedly received some information
from a Samsung rep on the new Samsung Galaxy S II and if these
specifications turn out to be correct it is going to be a very
interesting Android smartphone.
According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy S III will come with
Android Ice Cream Sandwich and will be powered by a quad core 2GHz
processor, plsu 1.5GB RAM and 32GB of built in storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S II is also rumored to feature a 4.65 inch Super
AMOLED III display with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels and a pixel
density of 352-PPI, plus a 10 megapixel camera which will be able to
record Full HD video in 1080p at 60 frames per second.
Other rumored specifications include NFC, and a metal body with a
thickness of just 9mm plus a 2,250 mAh battery, plus Samsung’s TouchWiz
5.0.
The new Samsung Galaxy S II is expected to be unveiled at MWC 2012, and it is likely to go on sale in the middle of 2012.
