Samsung’s new Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Samsung Ativ S is now available to pre-order in the UK, the SIM free version of the Ativ S will retail for £442.80 including taxes and it will be available around the end of October.

The Samsung Ativ S comes with Windows Phone 8 and it is powered by a dual core 1.5GHz processor and it features a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

The Samsung Ativ S come with 16GB of built in storage, and it also features a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards, there is also a rear 8 megapixel camera for photos and video, which features auto-focus and an LED flash,  and a front facing 1.9 megapixel camera for video chat.
