It looks like Apple may be streaming today’s iPad Mini event to their Apple TV, as a new icon has turned up on Apple TV devices with the name ‘Apple Events’, and when the icon is clicked it shows today’s iPad Mini event. Apple
is expected to announce the new smaller iPad Mini which is rumored to
feature a 7.85 inch display, and Apple’s new Lightning dock connector,
Apple are also expected to announce other devices at the event. Some
of the other devices that Apple are rumored to be introducing are a new
13 inch Retina MacBook Pro and a new Mac Mini, Apple may also refresh

new Fujitsu Stylistic Q572 Windows 8 tablet, is equipped with a

T-Mobile recently announced that the LG Optimus L9 was headed to their network in the US, and now they have announced that the handset will be available from the 31st of October. The LG Optimus
L9 will retail for $79.99 when you sign up to a new two year contract
with the carrier, this price is after a $50 mail in rebate, and the
handset comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The LG Optimus L9 features a 4.7 inch qHD touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, it is powered by a dual core 1GHz processor and comes with 1GB of RAM. Other

Samsung announced earlier this year that they would be putting their new YOUM flexible AMOLED
smartphone display into production before the end of 2012, and now it
would appear that Samsung has delayed the display until 2013. According
to a recent report by, Samsung has had production problems with their
new YOUM display, and also their current AMOLED displays are so popular
that they have had to increase production in facilities which were to be
used for the flexible displays. Samsung
has apparently increased production of their existing AMOLED displays
from around 56,000 units per month to 64,000 units per month, due to
high demand for the displays. So it looks like we will have to
wait until next year to see the first smartphones with Samsung’s new

It looks like Google is getting ready to release a new version of
their Google Wallet payment system, as their website now has a message
which says that ‘The next version of Google Wallet is coming soon’, and
you can sign up for an invite on Google’s website. According to Business Insider,
when they signed up to receive details of the new version of Google
Wallet, they were asked which smartphone they had, in the form of
Android, iPhone or other. This could suggest that Google intends to expand their Google Wallet payment system beyond their Android platform to other platforms like Apple’s iOS and possibly others. Of
course Google has yet to confirm what new features will be available in
the next version of Google Wallet and they have also not released any
information that the service will be available on other platforms apart

Microsoft has today confirmed that their new Xbox SmartGlass
companion application will officially launch as an integrated part of
their new Windows 8 operating system later this week. The new Xbox
Smart Glass companion application will be a new addition to the Games
section of Windows 8 as well as devices running Windows RT. Watch the

Yesterday a very quick 22 second snippet of a trailer for the new
Iron Man 3 film was published to YouTube, providing a very first glimpse
of what we can expect from the new movie once it premiers in April 2013.
Following on from that leaked clip, Marvel has today released a
longer 2 minute official trailer for the new Iron Man 3 movie providing a
more comprehensive look at the storyline and the new Iron Man suit.

After only going on sale earlier this week via the Google Play store,
Samsung’s new Chromebook has already sold out, less than 24 hours after
initially going on sale in the Google Play Store.
At the current
time no numbers have been released by Goggle regards the amount of
units available to purchase at launch, but the extremely reasonable
price for the new notebook, is sure to attract plenty of interest. To re-cap the Samsung Chromebook is equipped with a 11.6″ 1366 x 768 resolution HD display,
