Its Friday again and the fourth instalment of the Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn live-action action series has been released to help you through the day.

The new instalment adds another 15 minutes of live-action to the story and can be viewed after the jump together with the first three episodes if you haven’t had the chance to see any.

The official Halo 4 game currently in development by 343 Industries will be launching worldwide on November 6th 2012, with both regular and limited editions of the Halo 4 game being available on launch day. You can watch the Halo 4 official launch trailer in our previous post. Enjoy!

In the run up to the highly anticipated launch of Microsoft’s Windows 8 later today, the company has announced that it will be offering a free Media Centre Pack for Windows 8 Pro users for a limited time.

Microsoft revealed that the free Media Center Pack would be available from today until January 31st 2012, to consumers who purchase or upgrade to Windows 8 Professional.

Acer is going to be launching a new Android smartphone in the UK next month, the Acer Liquid Z110 Duo is a dual SIM smartphone that features a 3.5 inch display with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.

The Acer Liquid Z110 Duo comes with Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and is powered by a 1GHz MKT 6575 processor and also comes with 512MB of RAM and 512MB of built in storage, plus if features a microSD card slot and comes with a 4GB card installed.

There is also a 3 megapixel camera, a built in FM tuner, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth, pricing for the handset in the UK has not been announced, although it is available in other European countries for 99 Euros Sim free, the device will go on sale in the UK next month.

MSI has today announced that their gaming laptops will be receiving a refresh and an upgrade to Windows 8 operating system launching today,with the first laptops to receive the new refresh being the MSI GT60 And GT70.

The MSI GT60 And GT70 high performance gaming laptops originally launched back in July of this year, and MSI are also looking to now upgrade their budget-conscious GE series and the AMD processor-based GX60 gaming laptop with Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system as well.

Apple was ordered by a UK court a while back to publish a notice on its website and also an advert in the UK press saying that Samsung did not copy the design of Apple’s iPad.

Apple has now posted the message to their website, and you can see some of the message that Apple posted below, saying that the Samsung Galaxy Tab did not copy the iPad.

On 9th July 2012 the High Court of Justice of England and Wales ruled that Samsung Electronic (UK) Limited’s Galaxy Tablet Computer, namely the Galaxy Tab 10.1, Tab 8.9 and Tab 7.7 do not infringe Apple’s registered design No. 0000181607-0001

Obviously Apple have tried to turn around the ruling of having to post the notice, and have quoted the judge in the ruling, who basically said that Samsung’s Galaxy Tab was not as cool as Apple’s iPad.

Apple’s latest tablet, the iPad Mini is now available to pre-order, and the device will start shipping next Friday the 2nd of November, prices start at $329 in the US and £269 in the UK for the entry level 16GB WiFi model.

The iPad mini features a 7.9 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and 163 pixels per inch, it is powered by a dual core A5X processor and comes with dual cameras.

On the front of the iPad Mini is a 1.2 megapixel FaceTime HD camera for video chat and on the back is 5 megapixel iSight camera for photos and video, it also comes with a battery that will give you up to 10 hours of usage.
