Google and Samsung have announced a new Chromebook laptop and it comes with some impressive specifications for the price, the new Google Chromebook will retail for $249.

The $249 Google Chromebook features an 11.6 inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, the device is just 0.8 inches thick and weighs in a 1.1kgs, processing is provided by a Samsung Exynos 5 dual core processor and it also comes with 16GB of built in storage.

The new Google Chromebook also comes with 100GB of Google Drive online storage, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, a VGA web camera, one USB 3.0 port and one USB 2.0 port, there is also a HDMI port and Bluetooth 3.0.

The Google Chromebook is now available to pre-order and it will go on sale next week in the US and the UK, you can find out more information over at Google.
