As well as announcing the new Nexus 10 tablet Google
has also announced their latest Nexus smartphone the Nexus 4, which was
developed by LG for Google and it comes with a new version of Android,
version 4.2 Jelly Bean. We
have been hearing rumors about the Google Nexus 4 for the last few
weeks, and now we have confirmation of the devices specifications which
include a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels and
320ppi.
The
Google Nexus 4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 pro processor
clocked at 1.5GHz, it also feature 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 8GB
or 16GB of storage, there is no microSD card slot. Other
specifications on the Google Nexus 4 include a front facing 1.3
megapixel camera for video chat and a rear facing 8 megapixel camera for
photos and video, there is also microUSB, SlimPort HDMI, plus Android
4.2 Jelly Bean. The 8GB Google Nexus 4 will retail for £239
($299) and the 16GB Nexus 4 will retail for £279 ($349), these are for
the unlocked handset which means you can use it with any mobile carrier, it will launch on the 13th of November. Source Google |
