iZettle has this week announced that their mobile payment service
will shortly be launching in the UK, enabling small businesses to accept
credit card payments using their mobile devices. iZettle has
partnered with Everything Everywhere the new company created by Orange,
T-Mobile and EE in the UK to enable customers to easily sign-up for the
new service.
The
new iZettle payment dongles will be available to purchase for £20 each
from Everything Everywhere stores within the UK, Jacob de Geer, CEO and
co-founder of iZettle explains: "The beauty of iZettle is that
it’s simple to use, totally secure and takes seconds for a
transaction,”-”Whether you are a cabbie, florist, tradesperson or a
courier, iZettle gives you the flexibility to operate in both cash and
cards. The possibilities are endless because hundreds of thousands of
small business can now take plastic. We are very excited about our full
commercial launch in the UK and the positive results of our Beta test
with 4,000 users over the past six months.”
iZettle enables
small businesses to accept payments from Visa, MasterCard, American
Express and Diners Club and is available for both iOS and Android
devices, with transaction fees charged at 2.75 percent of each
