Lenovo has this week launched its new IdeaTab A2107 Android tablet in the US for $150, which comes supplied running Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.
The Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 is powered by a 1 GHz MTK 6575 ARM Cortex-A9
single core processor, supported by 512MB of RAM and includes 8GB of
internal storage.
Its fitted with a 7 inch Active Matrix TFT Color LCD screen sporting a
resolution of 1024 x 600, together with an accelerometer, microphone,
and ambient light sensor. Lenovo explains:
"Exceptionally portable, the IdeaTab A2107 holds the answer if
you want to keep all your favorite books, songs and movies at your
fingertips, even when you’re off the beaten track. Great for HD video
and stereo music, and comfortable for reading, it is a tough,
affordable, pocket-size tablet PC.”
The IdeaTab A2107 is also equipped with a 2 megapixel rear-facing
camera, and a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera, and also includes dual
SIM-card slots and is 3G-enabled. Lenovo state that the tablet has a 10 hour battery and support Bluetooth 4.0
